Privacy policy
Real Talk. Updated 18 October 2026.
Who we are
Real Talk is made by Pink Panda Australia Pty Ltd ("we", "us"). We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This policy explains what the Real Talk app collects, why, and the choices you have.
No accounts, no ads, no tracking
You don't create an account to play Real Talk. We don't show ads, we don't use advertising identifiers, we don't track you across other apps or websites, and we never sell your information.
What we collect
Random identifiers: the app creates a random ID for you (kept in your iCloud Keychain so it survives a reinstall) and one for your device. They aren't linked to your name.
Device and app details: device model, iOS version, app version, language, time zone, and the country your connection comes from (we don't keep your IP address).
How you use the app: for example which categories you open, how many cards you play, and whether you saw the subscription screen. This helps us improve the game.
Purchases: Apple handles payment. We and our subscription provider see what you bought and when, never your card details.
Notifications: if you allow them, a push token so we can send you notifications.
Your email, only if you give it to us: after a purchase, in Settings, or when you contact support. We only send marketing emails if you tick the box to agree, and every email has a one-click unsubscribe.
Messages you send us: support requests and question suggestions.
How we use it
To run the app (content, subscriptions and notifications), to answer support requests, to understand and improve the game, to send the notifications and emails you've agreed to, and to keep the service secure.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers who handle information only to provide their service to us: Apple (App Store and notifications), RevenueCat (subscriptions), DigitalOcean (our servers, in Sydney), Cloudflare (network and security), Brevo (email) and Sentry (crash and error reports, with personal details removed).
Some of these providers store information outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union. We choose providers with strong privacy and security practices.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Detailed usage events are kept for 90 days and then only as totals that don't identify anyone. Other information is kept while you use the app, or until you ask us to delete it. Purchase records are kept as long as the law requires.
Your choices
Delete your data at any time in Real Talk under Settings, then Delete my data. This removes your information from our systems and from our subscription provider. Your purchases stay with your Apple ID and come back with Restore purchases.
Turn notifications off in your iPhone's Settings. Unsubscribe from emails with the link in any email.
To ask for a copy of your information, correct it, or make a complaint, email [email protected]. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
Children
Real Talk isn't designed for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
